Project Summary

PwC is seeking to identify urgent support areas for companies facing market crises, focusing on how enterprise blockchain, Web3, and AI can provide solutions. The research will concentrate on three core business functions: Operations, Finance, and Sustainability.

The project's goal is to analyze which industries are most ripe for disruption and how companies can integrate these new technologies with their existing ERP and cloud infrastructures. The final outcome will provide actionable insights, strategic recommendations for future-proofing IT architecture, and a clear path for enterprises to leverage Web3 for enhanced efficiency and resilience.

Project Details

Objectives:

• Identify and evaluate key enterprise blockchain use cases where companies urgently need support across Operations, Finance, and Sustainability.
• Analyze and determine the top three industries where Web3 and AI can have the highest impact.
• Interview key stakeholders in the selected industries to identify their primary needs and challenges.
• Analyze how Web3 and AI can be incorporated into existing ERP and cloud transformation programs to future-proof IT architecture.
• Engage with hyperscalers (e.g., SAP, Microsoft, AWS) to understand the opportunities and challenges of integration.

Expected Results: The project will combine all research and analysis into a Final Report and Presentation that provides enterprises with actionable insights. Specifically, the report should include:

1. Research & Analysis: A detailed report identifying the top three industries poised for high impact from Web3 and AI.
2. Stakeholder Insights: Documentation of key findings and challenges identified during stakeholder interviews across the three core functions.
