Project Summary

Herita is a VC-backed fintech startup building modern infrastructure for supply chain finance using Digital Bills of Exchange (BEX) - legally enforceable payment obligations that enable Buyers to pay later, Suppliers to receive early payment (at a discount) and financing parties to earn attractive returns .

This project explores how blockchain technologies can enhance this model through:

• Programmability (smart contracts)
• Liquidity (tokenisation of receivables)
• Transparency and Trust (on-chain verification)
• Secondary markets (tradable financial instruments)

In parallel, Herita is beginning its journey toward ISO 27001 certification, requiring the establishment of structured security, compliance and risk management practices.
