The project aims to develop a practical framework for smart contract lifecycle management in tokenization projects, specifically for digital capital markets. It will translate financial instrument requirements into smart contract features and provide a structured lifecycle approach covering design, implementation, deployment, operations, and governance. The outcome will be a framework enriched with process flows, stakeholder responsibilities, and prototype elements to support HADC in advancing its digital asset strategy.

Project Details

Objectives:

• Develop a practical framework for smart contract life cycle management
• Clarify who defines characteristics of financial instruments and how these become technical requirements
• Map end-to-end flows of tokenized instruments: creation, setup, distribution, ongoing operation, redemption/termination
• Identify tools, frameworks, and providers that support key steps in the lifecycle
• Provide practical guidance and knowledge on processes and technical setups

Expected results:

• Utilize existing HADC knowledge of legal frameworks, operations, smart contracts and on-chain processes
• Deduct a list of requirements for smart contract lifecycle management – business, operational, technical
• Create process & flow charts illustrating lifecycle steps of tokenized financial instruments
